The Fluval FX2 comes equipped with a powerful 450 gph pump that operates at a very modest 27 watts of electricity.Incoming water passes through a telescopic strainer to prevent clogging, and filtered water is returned to the aquarium via a dual, multi-directional output nozzle. To verify optimal performance, the FX2 features patented Smart Pump Technology (SPT).
